Hickory Dickory Dock | Super Simple Songs

This week our Nursery Rhyme is Hickory Dickory Dock - sing along and join in with the actions

To introduce our topic, and the story of Oliver's Vegetables, the children helped to make Vegetable Soup. They took turns to chop the vegetables, having a little taste, and smelling them - the onions made our eyes water!

We then cooked the soup in the slow cooker. The smell of the soup in the classroom made our tummies rumble and we were very excited to try it.

The soup received mixed reviews, with some children only trying a spoonful and others enjoying three bowls!

Our first Nursery Rhyme of this half term is 5 Current Buns. You can sing this at home and take turns in going to the shop and buying a current bun.
